Handmade Pink & GreenThank You Card with Ribbon and Tag
I had a great time designing and working on this Pink & Green Thank You Card! Which is available in my Etsy store. Credit to my SLICE for the tag work! The rest is layered with 2 types of patterned paper, and centered with a cloth paisley ribbon. Enjoy!

Handmade Birthday Card for Dad
I had a great time making this fabulous card for dad! First 'official' project with my Slice die cutter machine by Making Memories. My Hubby bought it for me for my birthday and its FABULOUS! All the cutouts (letters, shapes, circles, corners) were performed by my lovely Slice. I use Tacky Craft Glue to put it all together. I used some wired lined brown woven ribbon to add a little fabric to the card. I admit...some hot glue was involved, not my fav. in card making, but I needed to keep that thick ribbon sealed down somehow.
Happy Birthday Dad!
(p.s: He loved the card, and so did the waitress's at the Sushi restaurant!)

Handmade Baby Shower Invitations for a best friend!
I'll be honest. I threw a fantastic baby shower for my best friend last December. She had a boy, and it was a monkey/jungle themed party. I really wish I took pictures of that too, for it was so great!
Invitations were printed on Pool Cover Paper from Paper Source. I have always been really impressed by the quality of their paper. Always smooth, looks nice and cuts great. The gold matte is Shimmer Gold Cover Paper. Tied it off with a nice metallic brown ribbon I picked up from Michael's. That cute monkey is printed on gloss paper and hand cut (!!!). Back in my craft days when I was be-missed of my paper cutter (which IS awesome by the way). The Monkey is tacked on with a raised sticky plug thing...not quite sure what the name of that is, but I got it from good old Hobby Lobby.
Needless to say, she LOVED her invitiations, and once of them is still tacked up on her fridge 10 months later. :)
Until next time!

Handmade Wedding Invitations
I designed my own wedding invitations, and had a wonderful time doing so. They were digitally designed in PS3 with an assortment of paisley brushes and shapes. The font is Twilight, as in Twilight the book. Yes, I'm such a nerd but I loved the font. I did not want anything curly.Another font use is Marriage Script
The paisleys are hand painted with gold acrylic paint. I have my wonderful bridesmaids to thank for helping me with that! A simple gold ribbon goes down the quarter line. The background is a brown metallic envelope I picked up at my local Paper Source store. Enjoy!!
